Sátoraljaújhely Pump Track

Description

The pump track in Sátoraljaújhely was completed and opened in August 2025, and it stands out on a national level due to its size and unique features. Built on a 43.5 × 41 meter footprint, the track offers 873 m² of asphalted surface and 332 meters of rideable track. During construction, particular attention was given to ensuring that the pump track fits organically into the surrounding recreational and tourist infrastructure: it is located directly next to the suspension bridge, the chairlift, the ice rink and the dinosaur park, making it a perfect addition to the region’s active leisure facilities.

Even during its construction, the project generated significant interest, as there is currently no other pump park in Hungary with such complexity and diversity. The completed facility offers multiple track lines, providing enjoyable use for all age groups.

The true highlight of the Sátoraljaújhely pump track is the integrated “pool” element—the first of its kind in a Hungarian pump track. This feature, well-known from skateparks, offers a completely new experience for bikers, skateboarders and scooter riders, elevating the pump track to an entirely new level.

Thanks to its location, the surrounding tourist attractions, and its innovative design, the Sátoraljaújhely pump track is expected to remain a highly visited community space in the long term, serving both sports enthusiasts and contributing to the region’s tourism.
