Etyek Flow Trail Forest Mountain Bike Track

Description
In May 2024, a unique cycling “flow trail” was inaugurated, which runs from the observation tower to the heart of Etyek, with a 500 m long stretch. The special feature of the trail lies not only in the imposing scenery of the Etyek vineyards, but also in the variety and size of the obstacles and elements built into the trail. The cycling track has been designed to avoid all obstacles, so that even less experienced cyclists can enjoy the trail also.
Since then, the structure has been constantly revisited on various social media platforms, has received a lot of positive feedback from the national elite sports scene and provides a continuous training opportunity for these freestyle athletes.
The village already has a pump track, a forest cycling track and the Budapest-Balaton cycle path. The combination of this has created an outstanding cycling infrastructure and today it hosts international sporting events.

Cost
The total investment was 22 million HUF, with a 9 million HUF grant from the State Secretariat for Active Hungary.
