2. Needs assessment

Before starting the planning process, we will thoroughly assess the needs of the users in your municipality and the surrounding area. We take these into account before designing a cycle park and welcome suggestions from the local community and their leading personalities in relevant sports.

3. Inspiration, site selection

Based on our experience, customers usually offer 1-3 alternatives as a location, and from these we choose the most suitable area where the bike park can be set up. In making the final decision, we will jointly consider a number of factors, such as soil conditions, site location, and which option involves the least landscaping and alteration of the natural environment. We consider it important that the chosen site is easily accessible, for example near a kindergarten, school or sports centre, while at the same time taking into account safety requirements. Our tracks are designed and built to meet the highest safety standards, as certified by TÜV.

4. Planning

After surveying the site, a 3-dimensional technical plan will be drawn up, taking into account the characteristics and parameters of the site, in accordance with the available budget. The plans are designed to take full advantage of the site’s potential. On the basis of these surveys, we will draw up a complete technical drawing of the pump station, which will be a customized design document from which we will work during the construction phase. The design documentation includes the proposed track, dimensions and precise parameters of the elements. The technical drawing is produced in 2 or 3 dimensions, and a 3D printed model of the track is also produced and delivered to our customers.

Two tracks cannot be the same:
For each of our partners, we create a tailor-made, individual design, taking into account the site conditions, the specificities of the sport and the user’s needs. This ensures that each pitch we create truly serves the specific needs of the community or locally popular sport and meets all individual requirements.

5. Implementation

Once the team is onsite, thanks to our experienced and professional team, the construction will be completed in record time, in just 2-4 weeks, depending on the size of the track. Thanks to the methods we use during the works, the construction is carried out with minimal disturbance, which is easily acceptable to locals and environmentalists alike. The construction process is very spectacular and often attracts the attention of locals, who witness a professional bike park being built from almost nothing.

The construction is carried out in two phases:

1. In the first phase, we will build the substructure of the pump track using 100% crushed stone for the road base, free of all organic material, and we will also build the drainage system, an important factor in the lifespan of the track.
2. The most important operation in the second phase, and the heart of the track, is the laying of the asphalt. This will be followed by the surfacing and the different landscaping works, as well as the hummocking and grassing of the pump track and all the aesthetic processes involved in landscaping.

6. Handover ceremony

We will help organise the opening ceremony, involving professional sportsmen and women to make the event truly memorable with spectacular demonstrations: giving locals an insight into the correct and safe use of the sports field, which will also be an important guide for local users. We will also be available in the future to organise competitions or even a weekend jamboree or sports day.

7. Afterlife, advertising

We take the aftermath of our trails to heart, so we provide continuous media coverage already during construction on today’s popular social platforms (e.g. Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) from which the local cycling and sports culture can prepare for the imminent opening of the trail.
